$4.6 Million Federal Innovation Grant

New York City’s District 75, in partnership with MNMP, is one of 49 organizations selected from among nearly 1700 applicants nationwide to receive funding under the U.S. Department of Education’s Investing in Innovation (i3) program. The $4.6 million grant will fund a five-year project developing arts programs for special education students. District 75 and MNMP must secure a commitment for a 20 percent private sector match by September 8, 2010. 08.09.10

ABC/NY Summer intern

MNMP is thrilled to participate in Arts & Business Council of New York’s Multicultural Arts Management Internship Program for the second year in a row. We’ll host Santino Lo for a 10-week internship starting 06.07.2010. Santino is currently pursuing a BFA in music and a BA in arts management at SUNY Purchase College, and spent last summer at New York City Opera.

Taproot Foundation Database Service Grant

Through Taproot Foundation’s Service Grant Program, a team of IT business professionals will be customizing a donor database for MNMP at no cost to us. We had our kickoff meeting 05.11.2010, and we’re thoroughly impressed by the quality and dedication of our Taproot team!
