Arts in Education
Poets & Dancers
Make meaningful connections between poetry and dance by encouraging students to use one as inspiration for creative expression of the other. Students will be introduced to dance fundamentals such as balance, rhythm, spacing, gesture and breath. In addition, students will explore the principal components of poetry, such as imagery, metaphor, simile, personification, tone, and structure.
